VPA Trip to BOSTON! (2025)
The Visual and Performing Arts Department is taking a trip to Boston, and all students participating in a performing ensemble or honors level music, art, or theater class are eligible to attend!

Visit the Museum of Fine Arts
We will have over two hours to tour the MFA! Featured exhibits include the art of Vincent Van Gogh and other Dutch artists, the art of Japan, John Wilson, Minnie Evans, Qi Baishi, and more!
"Hello, Dolly!" at Lyric Stage
We will attend a matinee performance of Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! at the Lyric Stage theater. This classic show will feature phenomenal musicians and actors, with inspiring stagecraft and production designs.

A Symphonic Celebration
A Symphonic Celebration
Attend a concert honoring the music of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead by the Boston Pops orchestra, under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart.
TRIP COSTS
Total Trip Cost: $100-$225

Friday, March 14, 2025 - Deposit: $50 (this secures your spot!)
Monday, April 14, 2025 - Payment #2: $50
Monday, May 7, 2025 - Payment #3: Remaining cost (No more than $125)
Students will also be responsible for lunch and dinner costs. Bagged lunches may be requested from the cafeteria, but dinner will be on your own.
We are actively pursuing grants to help with the cost of this trip. This will primarily affect the amount of the final installment, but should there be any extra, we may be able to reduce the second payment as well.
If any student would like to participate, but the outlined cost is prohibitive, please indicate on the registration form linked below. We have limited funds available for scholarships based on need. Limited assistance with dinner costs is also available upon request.
Students may use money fundraised toward the cost of this trip, but please keep in mind that the music department is planning a larger-scale trip for next year, and you may wish to save your funds for that bigger expense.
REGISTER YOUR STUDENT
Submit the online registration form and complete and return the Permission Form and Deposit Form with your deposit NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 14th.
We will use the number of students who have turned in all of their paperwork to reserve buses. Students who turn in paperwork after March 14th may not be guaranteed a seat on the bus!
