Major Scales
Singers will be asked to sing the All-State audition scales for their chosen voice part. (It does not matter which divisi (1 or 2) you choose, as long as it is the correct voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass). Singers will hear the starting pitch before each scale.
Please sing legato on the vowel "Ah", on quarter notes, at a comfortable tempo.

Pitch Matching
Singers will be asked to sing back a series of ten musical lines one at a time, on a neutral syllable (la, doo, noo, etc). Each phrase will get progressively more challenging.
Solo Song
Singers should prepare first verse of the upcoming All-State audition piece for the current year. Soprano/Tenor learns the med-high version, Alto/Bass learns the med-low version.
