Digital Music & Audio Production

LEVEL I

DMAP I is an introduction to audio production in the digital world. Students use a basic Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) to create music and manipulate sound. Working through numerous exploratory and creative projects, students build the foundations of literacy and theory skills necessary to create more complex and finely crafted music.

LEVEL II

The second level of DMAP dives more deeply into the world of live audio production and the science behind the functionality of microphones and other sound equipment. Students then use this knowledge to more fully explore the capabilities of Digital Audio Workstations and learn how to blend the digital and analog to create more intricate and professional products.
